Macro · Wednesday's CPI will likely put the whole Fed fight in one gap: Cleveland Fed nowcast 3.60% headline, 2.39% core. That 1.2 points is mostly the gas pump. A rate hike cannot pump a barrel. Only a core print of 0.3% or hotter earns a December hike. $TLT $USO

Technicals · 📺 A HEALTHY PULLBACK OR SOMETHING MORE SERIOUS? + $TLT THE BIGGEST MACRO PROBLEM + $NVDA NEED TO HOLD 8-DAY + $TSLA IS BUILDING A BULLISH PATTERN + $AMZN / $GOOGL / $SPCX UPDATES The market is getting increasingly complicated. Rising Treasury yields, elevated oil prices, and deteriorating breadth are putting pressure on equities, even as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq remain relatively resilient. After a strong four-day rally, $SPY and $QQQ became extended and are now pulling back toward their 8-day moving averages. That's not necessarily bearish. A healthy reset would be constructive, but the combination of higher rates, rising oil, and systematic selling is making things sloppier. * The real concern is what's happening beneath the surface. The average momentum stock is estimated to be down 50%–60%, while the average S&P 500 stock is down 17%–18%. More stocks are breaking down, and Big Tech is increasingly carrying the indices. $SPY broke its previous low at $773.61, bringing the 8-day MA into focus. $QQQ is also showing signs of exhaustion, with a potential island-top formation. The $747–$748 area is critical support, followed by a possible gap fill near $745. * $TLT is arguably the biggest problem. Despite a strong Treasury auction on Wednesday, long-duration bonds are making new lows around $76.43–$76.45. That means yields are continuing to rise, creating a major headwind for equities. Another auction today could be important. * $USO is also worth watching. Oil

Delta just proved demand is not the problem. Oil is. Record September-quarter revenue. Q4 revenue guided up about 20%. Full-year EPS cut to $5.10-5.60 from $6.50-7.50 anyway. The gap is roughly $6B of extra fuel. A rate hike cannot refine a barrel. $DAL $JETS $USO
