  • 1Sentiment
  • @InvestorsLive: Pressure continues across AI basket. Quoted: $MU $SNDK $BE $NBIS $NVDA etc, wonder if this is like the $$ raise prior to $SPCX, in the weeks leading into Anthropic getting cash ready.
  • @RedDogT3: @RedDogT3 argues for trading less now: the market is near all-time highs but momentum is deteriorating, breakouts are failing and former leaders are breaking down. $SPY is less than 2% below its high, held up by a few mega-caps, while $QQQ is weakening; he watches $773 to $775 on $SPY as near-term support. $JPM first fell $8 to $11 after earnings, slipping below its 200-day near $325, then recovered above $340; he holds no $JPM, $GS or $WFC and suggests waiting a day or two after bank earnings. He exited semis last week after the failed $SNDK reversal and its break below the 50-day; $MU suffered a bull trap with the 100-day as the next downside reference; $NVDA had one of the weakest breakouts to new highs, failed to hold $243 and lost its $236 pivot, and after about six down sessions is nearing its 50-day with $224.92 and $221.09 as references. An oversold bounce could trigger semis short covering, but that is not a return to leadership. $META is more constructive, and holding around $727 supports the bullish structure. $TSLA keeps producing broken bounces, with $368 as support and a reclaim of $377.58 improving the picture. He advises not chasing bounces, cutting unnecessary exposure and protecting capital.
  • @Schuldensuehner: The AI boom is becoming a debt boom and credit markets are getting nervous. Oracle’s 5y CDS trades near a record 261bps, implying a 20.4% default probability. SpaceX: 16.5%. Even Nvidia: >7%. AI-related borrowers have issued nearly $500bn of debt this year, Bloomberg reports. The question: how much future AI revenue is already being spent?

@aleabitoreddit: Largan's chairman said MicroLEDs are unlikely to become viable for AI data center buildouts. $AMD, $NVDA and the industry are racing to procure CW laser supply this year; EML was last year's focus with $LITE and $COHR.

See original

Wow, Largan Chairman dropped a nuke and stated MicroLEDs unlikely to become viable for AI DC buildouts As for what's up and coming... Feels like $AMD, $NVDA, and everyone in the industry is clearly going out of their way to procure CW laser supply this year. EML was the market's focus last year with $LITE / $COHR (and still partially is). But future architectures with microleds was something to keep watch for 2028 onwards... Since $CRDO was pretty focused on it with their acqusition of Hyperlume, $AMS Osram was a popular name (working with Credo too), hyperscalers like $MSFT were developing in the space too. Largan is also a $TSM COUPE supply chain player that does FAU like Foci/microlens/passive components, so they're more impartial. But yeah... was a surprise to see Largan Chairman citing concerns over "power consumption, size, and transmission efficiency" for microled commercialization and said it's unlikely to become viable. (source: Digitimes) TLDR: -> MicroLED as a technology unlikely to become viable from Largan Chairman -> If it turns out correct, indirectly positive for lasers like VCSEL, then CW/SiPH since there's some overlap for CPO scale up applications

Mostly green arrows as rates come off highs and oil pulls back a bit. $SPX is still choppy after the move to 7844, with 7731 now the key short-term level to trade against. Above that keeps things steadier; below it, stay more tactical with less size.

$NBIS earned $NVDA Exemplar Cloud validation for HGX B300 training after posting the fastest single node results in two MLPerf benchmarks. HGX B300 performed within ~11% of GB300 NVL72 on those workloads giving Nebius more flexibility to deploy high performance compute without relying entirely on rack scale systems. That is how Nebius moves toward delivering better performance and infrastructure efficiency for AI customers.

A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY. Here's a full recap: 1. OpenAI told investors its annualized revenue was approaching $50B at the end of September, according to the Financial Times, below the roughly $70B figure that had been widely reported last month. The discrepancy reportedly reflects differences in accounting methods, with Anthropic including revenue generated through cloud partners such as AWS and Google Cloud, while OpenAI does not. Investors had attempted to adjust OpenAI’s figures to make them comparable with Anthropic’s, contributing to the higher estimate. The report weighed on AI infrastructure sentiment, with several semiconductor stocks falling roughly 5–7% as investors reassessed near-term AI spending expectations. OpenAI declined to comment. 2. The September FOMC meeting minutes showed that most Federal Reserve officials expect another interest rate hike by year-end, reinforcing the central bank’s higher-for-longer stance. All 19 Fed officials supported the September rate hike, reflecting unanimous concern that inflation remains above target. The minutes also said almost all policymakers believe inflation risks remain tilted to the upside, with several officials warning that the accelerating AI investment boom could increase demand faster than supply, adding to inflationary pressures. 3. Elon Musk said today that he sees an extraordinary long-term future for $SPCX SpaceX, writing: “This will sound super crazy, but I see a path to SpaceX

Mostly red arrows as rates continue higher and oil stays elevated. $SPX recently hit 7844, but the tape feels tired under the surface. Key support is 7763–7727ish; if that area holds, momentum can stay intact. If it breaks, the tape can get sloppy fast.
