@Mr_Derivatives: AAPL, MSFT and META are near all time highs and NVDA, AMZN, GOOGL and TSLA are holding up, about 40% of the S&P 500 weight, so the other ~493 stocks matter less.

Scott Redler: Hotter CPI tests stocks. $SPY key support $776 (8-day MA), $779–$781 reference zone. $QQQ defended 21-day, next resistance $749.20. $GOOGL relative strength, manage vs $346 or $343 support, still upside potential. $META bullish momentum, targets $779 and $795 after consolidation. Exited $SPCX after $160 break, next downside $156.11, concerns on capital needs. $NVDA tactical trade from $223 to $228.64, trimmed, not major breakout. Price action over predictions.

HOTTER CPI PUTS STOCKS TO THE TEST + $SPY / $QQQ WILL KEY SUPPORT HOLD? + $GOOGL RELATIVE STRENGTH + $META BULLISH MOMENTUM + $SPCX I’M OUT
CPI came in slightly hotter than expected, putting the stock market's resilience to another important test. Inflation remains a concern, with investors still debating whether the Fed will need one or two additional rate hikes.

The market has been holding up relatively well, but not all stocks are created equal. Mega-cap tech and select software names are offering constructive setups, while speculative growth and momentum stocks remain difficult to trade.
*
Here's what I'm watching today:
1. $SPY / $QQQ — Will Key Support Hold?
$SPY has repeatedly defended its 8-day moving average, with $776 emerging as critical active support. The $779–$781 area is the immediate reference zone. A sustained break below $776 could invite additional selling pressure, particularly following the hotter CPI print.
$QQQ has experienced a deeper pullback but successfully defended its 21-day moving average. The next challenge is reclaiming the 8-day, with $749.20 serving as important near-term resistance. A rejection there could encourage active sellers.
The broader technical structure remains constructive, but these levels need to hold.
*
2. $GOOGL — Relative Strength Continues
Alphabet has been one of the more forgiving names to trade. I've been trimming into strength and recently sold my options after a quick $4 move, but I'm still holding some sh

$SKHY Set to open down 8 days in a row.
Look gambler’s fallacy when it comes to daily up/down streaks, but for such a big name, 8 consecutive days is a bit uncommon.
I remember last year $META went up a record 20 days in a row, it was a sight to behold!!
But you rarely see big names down 8 days in a row…
They wouldn’t do it 9 days tomorrow would they…?

@munster_gene says Apple's AI risk is not losing the iPhone but getting boxed out of the services upside for $AAPL. If users lock into $META Muse or $SPCX Grokbot first and start paying $20+ per month, it will be harder to get them to switch to Siri, so Apple needs to move faster.

Apple's AI risk isn't the iPhone losing out. It's getting boxed out of the services upside. $AAPL
If people lock into $META Muse or $SPCX Grokbot first, get their lives connected and workflows set up, and start paying $20+ per month, it will be harder to get them to switch to using Siri in any meaningful way.
Siri can be a great personal AI, but Apple needs to move faster.

He's being harsh. Siri is far from perfect, but the new Siri is better than people realize. Apple needs to get the word out. Even more, they need to ship product as fast as $META and $SPCX. That’s the hardest part.
