  • @aleabitoreddit: @aleabitoreddit shares thoughts on AI supply chain, noting strong demand visibility for memory names like $MU, Samsung and SK Hynix into 2030-2031 with LTAs covering 70% of Samsung capacity and price floors. $LITE is sold out into 2029 with discussions into 2030, while $NVDA, $AVGO and $MRVL show supply-constrained growth. Near-term volatility hit options and prices, but long-term baseline from contracts looks solid for bottleneck players. Some caution on $IREN valuation despite Anthropic deal.
  • @KawzInvests: $MRVL's investor day gave us a five-year roadmap for the photonics supply chain. Management is targeting more than $30 in non-GAAP EPS by FY2031. At yesterday’s Investor Day, Xi Wang described Marvell’s position in 1.6T optical connectivity: “Today, we are at 1.6T generation, shipping in high volume, leading our competitor by two years and counting.” That buildout also needs lasers, transceivers and silicon photonics manufacturing. The opportunity extends across $LITE $COHR $AAOI $CIEN $TSEM and $ALAB. We followed Marvell’s roadmap through the supply chain and modeled what these businesses could be worth by 2030, accounting for their different growth markets, valuations and dilution. Full breakdown below ↓
  • @michaelsikand: $MRVL is the first company that's given visibility into photonics through 2030. Revenue was $8.2B last year and the fiscal 2031 target is $70B to $90B. The TAM is 4x last investor day. Interconnect becomes the biggest segment at ~$37.5B Now think about what this means for the suppliers. Nobody else in the photonics supply chain has guided out to 2030, but they all ride the same curves. $LITE's CEO says they'll only be able to supply 30% of what customers want next year. Coherent's booked through the end of 2027. So @AsymmetricBets_ ran Marvell's model on the 6 biggest beneficiaries: $LITE $COHR $AAOI $CIEN $TSEM $ALAB Each one grows at its own market's rate, gets valued off historical multiples and has dilution baked in. Bear, base and bull 2030 targets for all 7 are on my Substack below.

Catalyst · Short term · A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY. Here's a full recap: 1. SpaceX $SPCX is reportedly seeking $40B in financing, led by Apollo, to fund a massive purchase of NVIDIA $NVDA AI chips, according to the Financial Times. The proposed financing includes roughly $10B in bank loans and $30B of investment-grade debt, with the transaction expected to close in 2027. Elon Musk said in August that SpaceX had “decided to build exclusively on NVIDIA,” specifically highlighting the company's Vera Rubin architecture as SpaceX accelerates investment in AI compute and data center infrastructure. 2. AMD $AMD CEO Lisa Su said AI compute demand continues to outpace supply and expects strong demand to persist for the next several years, with AMD planning to substantially increase supply in 2027. Su said AMD has already expanded supply this year but “could definitely use more,” thanking TSMC for bringing additional manufacturing capacity online while noting that memory remains broadly supply constrained. She added that AMD is working closely with memory suppliers and customers to ensure capacity ramps in sync while keeping its current business model unchanged. Su also described Taiwan as “very critical” to AMD, saying the company plans to increase its investment there while continuing to explore new packaging technologies. 3. Uber $UBER is acquiring ezCater for $2.3B in cash, expanding Uber Eats into the workplace catering market. ezCater has more than 140,000 restaurant partners

Sure... Random train of thoughts on markets now, optics like $LITE / memory + $IREN / Anthropic. On Memory: - Demand visibility on $MU / Samsung / SK Hynix extend into 2030-2031. Samsung has LTAs covering 70% of their capacity into 2031 (likely with SK Hynix type price floors)... and their operating profit is already absurd. There's a consensus that shortage in 2027 will be much more severe than 2026... Even $SNDK expends gross margins to exceed 80% entering 2030. You're going to hear Acer and other CEOs that want memory prices to go down cite bear cases like CXMT/YMTC, and Chinese players. But just looking at supply procurement that $NVDA is doing + hyperscalers, demand visibility is absurd for the next 5 years. And by that time, cumulative FCF coming in from these take/pay + pricing floor contracts might exceed some of their entire marketcaps so it feels like there's some baseline. Near-term is always volatile (IV dropped a ton across $EWY to $DRAM to $MU), so people with call options likely got nuked, along with underlying prices. But if Samsung is 3x 2027E, has 5 year LTAs with 70% of capacity committed from hyperscalers, and price floors, it's kinda hard to see these names suffer a sustained crash... For optics: - $LITE is literally sold out into 2029, starting discussions into 2030. With demand visibility lasting into 2031… with hyperscalers largely funding the capacity buildout. Their 2028 Greensboro fab expansion was ~$5B in UHP laser capac
