$AAPL gets test approval for AI powered Siri in China. This is a big step forward. I expected this milestone mid 2027.
Now the question is when will it move from testing to general availability. My guess is the first half of 2027.
Keep in mind, testing doesn’t mean general availability. Just over a year ago, Tesla got “approval for testing” on FSD in China, and so far it’s been crickets on that front

Interesting to see Elon interacting with finance X accounts. Amplifying $CRWV financing concerns, Chinese memory flooding, to AI investors being gamblers recently. With $SPCX and $TSLA, Elon is a visionary but amplifying concerns about competitors makes their financing more difficult as a self-fulfilling prophecy. Multiple posts about Chinese memory flooding after calling Samsung/SK Hynix pricing extortion harms these supplier valuations. Economic incentives probably benefit Tesla/SpaceX more in the long run even if everything goes down together. Merit to concerns about Coreweave debt interest + rate hikes. Nuances of "No crying in a Casino" when $AVGO CEO comments were regarding OpenAI ARR datapoints were missed. Can throw rocks at others when a glass house is propped up by passive index flows.

It's interesting to see Elon interacting with finance X accounts out of the blue.
Then amplifying $CRWV financing concerns, Chinese memory flooding, to AI investors being gamblers recently.
With $SPCX and $TSLA, I do think Elon is a visionary but from how it looks from the outside...
Amplifying concerns about competitors does make their financing more difficult as a self-fulfilling prophecy.
And multiple posts about Chinese memory flooding after calling Samsung/SK Hynix pricing extortion does harm these supplier valuations...
The economic incentives of doing so probably benefits Tesla/SpaceX more in the long run, even if everything goes down together.
There's merit to a lot of things (I've been voicing Coreweave concerns about debt interest + rate hikes for the longest time...).
But much like high end memory flooding to nuances of "No crying in a Casino" when the $AVGO CEO comments were regarding OpenAI ARR datapoints... were missed.

U.S. stocks edged higher (SPX +0.2%, NDX flat) on strong $ASML earnings and guidance ahead of more bank results and September CPI. Brent fell to $106, and the 10-year treasury yield slipped to 5.19%. Bitcoin rose to $83.6K, and gold/silver moved lower. ASML rose +2.5% on robust demand and guidance, while chips were mixed and Tesla was flat. Financials $BLK, $BAC and $MS report today amid higher expected interest rates and dealmaking concerns. NY Fed President John Williams expects one more rate hike this year but none in 2027. S&P 2026 EPS estimates imply a 21.3x P/E and inverted 4.7% earnings yield vs. Treasuries, reminiscent of the late-1990s bubble, though yields may ease as the Iran conflict ends. $TSLA remains unattractive at a high 2026 P/E of 230x vs +45% long-term earnings growth amid declining estimates and continued commoditization of autonomy.

Elon Musk was asked why he built SpaceX and Tesla
His answer reveals the deeper purpose behind everything he built:
“SpaceX and Tesla are fundamentally intended to improve the probability that the future is good”
Tesla → “accelerating sustainable energy”
SpaceX → “making life multi-planetary and providing global internet through Starlink”
And this is the part that says it all:
“These are fundamental goods. The good of those companies will far exceed anything that I do from a charitable standpoint”
Not just businesses… missions built to make the future better for all of humanity

Here's how I think about using SI (vs AI):
AI has become the umbrella term for nearly everything happening in tech today. That term caught on first. But when you consider what companies like Tesla and SpaceX are ultimately trying to achieve, I think "super intelligence" (SI) is a more accurate description of their ambitions.
At first I thought SI was a silly term to use over AI, but after thinking about it, Tesla and SpaceX are trying to create a real super intelligence, and less so an "artificial intelligence." Think about how we describe someone who's exceptionally smart. We say they're "super intelligent." Nobody says they're "artificially intelligent."
SI would have been a better term from the beginning. A lot of people will probably still call it AI, but Optimus is not going to be artificially intelligent, it's going to have super intelligence. It'll take some getting used to lol

A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY.
Here's a full recap:
1. OpenAI told investors its annualized revenue was approaching $50B at the end of September, according to the Financial Times, below the roughly $70B figure that had been widely reported last month. The discrepancy reportedly reflects differences in accounting methods, with Anthropic including revenue generated through cloud partners such as AWS and Google Cloud, while OpenAI does not. Investors had attempted to adjust OpenAI’s figures to make them comparable with Anthropic’s, contributing to the higher estimate. The report weighed on AI infrastructure sentiment, with several semiconductor stocks falling roughly 5–7% as investors reassessed near-term AI spending expectations. OpenAI declined to comment.
2. The September FOMC meeting minutes showed that most Federal Reserve officials expect another interest rate hike by year-end, reinforcing the central bank’s higher-for-longer stance. All 19 Fed officials supported the September rate hike, reflecting unanimous concern that inflation remains above target. The minutes also said almost all policymakers believe inflation risks remain tilted to the upside, with several officials warning that the accelerating AI investment boom could increase demand faster than supply, adding to inflationary pressures.
3. Elon Musk said today that he sees an extraordinary long-term future for $SPCX SpaceX, writing: “This will sound super crazy, but I see a path to SpaceX
