$NVTS just unveiled a 24 kW power board developed with $NVDA for its MGX ecosystem converting 800V directly to 12V for the next generation of AI racks. Navitas CEO says goal is to “bring power closer to the GPU” by eliminating an entire conversion step that would otherwise waste electricity as heat. Even a 1.5 percentage point efficiency improvement could free up ~15 MW for every GW of AI capacity to power more compute giving Navitas an early position in the power infrastructure Nvidia is building for Vera Rubin.
